Barstool Sportsbook

Barstool Sportsbook seemed inevitable, and now it is a reality in a handful of states. Stoolies can wager on sports and against (or with) their favorite Barstool personalities, which is great for Penn National Gaming, Barstool’s parent company.

In case you have not heard by now, Barstool Sports partnered with Penn National Gaming in a historic partnership that brings two massive brands together. The details are quite extensive, but the summary includes Penn National Gaming having 36% of the company in exchange for $163M, and it makes Barstool the exclusive partner of Penn National Gaming for up to 40 years. The casino company gets access to Barstool’s ever-growing brand as well.

Penn National Gaming has casinos all over the country (in 20+ states), and continue to grow and acquire more markets. That aligns perfectly with Barstool Sports’ demographic, as a young, primarily male, fanbase that is all about sports and gambling bringing in nearly 70 million hits per month. That is exactly the target market for a casino and Barstool sports betting app company, which has already paid dividends.

This means many things, but the first that came to everyone’s minds was one question: Which states have Barstool Sportsbook? Let’s take a look at when Barstool could be coming to your state.
